What’s new

The story of Weavenly: what we added, redid and fixed, from the first beta to today.

November 2026Version 0.3.16

Visa data for every US job

If you need sponsorship, you see what each employer actually filed before you apply.

  • An H-1B line under every US job: the employer's certified H-1B filings for this kind of role in the job's state, the usual wage level, the median wage offered and its green card filings, from the U.S. Department of Labor's data. Hidden if About you says you don't need sponsorship.
  • The same line in the browser extension's panel on a US job's page, under the job's name.
  • H-1B sponsor pages on this site: about 2,700 employers by role and state, with their open US jobs.
  • On Windows: a page with the steps past the SmartScreen warning.
  • Your AI assistant can read your job search: turn it on in Settings, and Claude Desktop or Claude Code on your computer can see your jobs, résumés, found jobs and follow-ups. It is off until you turn it on, it can only read, and it never sees your passwords or the text of your emails.
  • Your email, step by step: for Gmail, iCloud, Yahoo, Yandex and Mail.ru, every step to an app password with a picture, and a plain message with the fix when something is off.
  • More jobs: the job list also reads companies' careers sites on iCIMS, Taleo, SuccessFactors, Jobvite, Oracle Cloud and Eightfold.
  • On this site: What Weavenly sends, every request the app and the extension make; a recruiter check that finds the signs of a scam in an email, in your browser; and a weekly hiring report.
  • On Windows and Linux spelling is no longer underlined: the spell checker downloaded its dictionaries from Google's servers.
  • H-1B rules now: the $100,000 payment and its court cases, the weighted lottery, proposed fees, OPT and visa stamping, each with its date and source.

A new Weavenly

We redid almost every screen so everything makes sense at a glance and looks the way we always wanted.

  • A new look: an Arc-style color frame, big icons, and a Home with one next step.
  • Roles: each with its own jobs, résumé and color. Switch with the dots at the bottom or ⌃1-9.
  • The whole app in Russian, switched live in every window.
  • Asks once: Yes/No questions in your language, the answer saved in About you.
  • Form filling: a panel on every form, and Weavenly never guesses answers for you.
  • AI on your plan: ChatGPT or Claude, no API key.
  • A menu bar widget, and a first run that blooms into your color.
  • Your email: Gmail, Yandex, Mail.ru, iCloud or Yahoo connects with an app password. Nothing in your mailbox changes, and emails that look like scams are kept apart.
  • Interviews from anywhere: an invite for a job you applied to on LinkedIn or through an agency becomes that job, with its description and a short prep for the interview.
  • Follow-ups ready to send: your AI fills in why this job and what you talked about, an email with a bracket left in it can’t be sent, and the address is whoever at the company wrote to you, or the one the job lists.

Simpler for everyone

We took out everything scary and kept what matters.

  • Weavenly no longer sends applications itself: it fills the form, you send it.
  • Add a job with one link.
  • Gmail connects with one button.
  • Updates download by themselves and install on restart.
  • Light, dark and system theme; a four-step first run.

  • An inbox from Gmail: employers’ replies and invitations.
  • A calendar, a job board, notes and companies.
  • macOS, Windows and Linux.
